Spring in Toronto

Spring is here and I could not be more excited. It's so nice to spend more time outside enjoying the fresh air, seeing some greenery pop up, and basking in the sunshine.  I managed to stay active throughout the winter, but nothing seems to beat the feeling of going for a run outdoors. I've been for a few runs since I have been able to manage the temperature, and can't seem to get enough of the waterfront views. Call me sheltered, but before I started running and cycling, I had no idea we had beaches scattered throughout the city! It kinda feels like I am in a different city - its my little escape.

Probably one of the most photographed "beaches" in Toronto. Sugar Beach is adorable with its pink umbrellas overlooking Lake Ontario.

I kind of put juicing on the back burner throughout the cooler months, but the Spring has me craving kale and all things green. I picked up the green detox juice from Fresh on a Sunday after a fun night out on the town ;)

These donuts/macrons/whatever you want to call them just "sprung" up this spring at Delysees. How adorable are they?

With Mother's Day just around the corner, I decided that I was going to take my mom to see the National Ballet's Giselle. You can use promo code GISELLE to receive up to 50% -$99 seats in the Grand Ring and Orchestra (regular up to $203) Expires May 8th, Valid on Giselle performances from June 15-18th.

Whenever there is a change in seasons, I have a sudden urge to chop my hair. I headed to Medulla & Co Yorkville to freshen up the ends.

Patio season is among us! I enjoyed some bubbly and shrimp at Colette on a Friday after work. Even if I'm still wearing a jacket, I am okay with it.

Now, we just wait for cherry blossom season! :)
