First off, let me start by saying that it was EXTREMELY windy the day of the shoot (hence the troll hair). Needless to say, my hair went WILD. It didn't exactly help that I let is air dry aka added extra craziness and unpredictability. What can a girl do? Just roll with it, I guess. And that's exactly what I did :)

I scored this Gap jacket over the weekend at 40% off and I couldn't have been happier. I was on the search for a denim jacket that wasn't too cropped or tight, and this fit my requirements exactly. I also love the light wash - I think it's the perfect shade for spring.

I can't wait to wear this jacket with floral dresses, skirts and shorts when the weather gets a little warmer. The current weather seems to be in total confusion. Let's hope it gains some clarity (soon) and stays warm for longer than a 2 day streak.

Oh also! I almost forgot to mention. You can pick up this jacket for 35% off online using the code GAPTODAY. (35% off your ENTIRE purchase!)

Happy Wednesday :) xo

I have a thing for all things shiny and sparkly. To illustrate my point, the other day I went out to purchase gold sequins for nothing other than having gold sequins. I plan to keep these little gems in a little gold heart dish on my desk (I know, I have issues). There is something about them that just make me smile.

So here I am wearing my cloak of happiness. I added some ripped jeans, strappy pumps and a pop of colour for a more relaxed weekend look.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend! xo A

The J.Crew No. 2 pencil skirt is my favourite pencil skirt of all time. I have it in an array of different colours and am so excited spring is here so I can wear it with more vibrant spring-like tones. My go-to look for spring is to pair it with a chunky knit tucked in at the front (to avoid looking like a box...)

Hope you're all having a lovely start to the week! xo A

I love adding a scarf to an otherwise boring outfit. There are so many different looks you can achieve - whether you throw on a blanket scarf for a more relaxed feel or a silk scarf to add a little glam. There are endless ways to tie a silk scarf and I love visiting the Hermes website for inspiration.  In addition to wearing them around my neck, I love wearing them in my hair, tied around the handle of my bag, or even as a bracelet. There are so many different styling options - you can even use them as belts.

Do you like wearing silk scarfs? If so, what are the different ways you like wearing them?

Hope you're all having a fantastic weekend :) xo
