It is no secret - I'm in love with fall. I can't wait to bundle up in scarves, and chunky knits, sip hot chocolate, and watch the leaves change to beautiful reds, oranges and yellows.

The early days of fall dressing can be a little tricky. One day it's COLD, and you're debating whether it would look weird to throw on your winter jacket. The next day its HOT  and you feel like you could lounge poolside while sipping a margarita. I totally get it.

During this transition, I like to incorporate summer pieces with fall staples. I don't  have any "rules" to follow - I just figure out what works based on the current weather. Not ready to say goodbye to that floral dress? Throw on a leather jacket. How about those shorts? Add a long sleeve top and top it off with a (faux) fur vest.

Use your creativity, figure out what works, have fun and just go with it.
I hope you had a lovely weekend! Happy Fall :)

If you've read some of my posts you'll start to see one reoccurring theme:
"I've been on the search for…"
"I've always wanted…"

And here it is - I've been looking for a chambray shirt for a few months now. I am so happy that I didn't just buy any chambray - I bought the chambray. Dress it up or dress it down - this shirt is sure to be on repeat for all seasons (and years!) to come. Let's just say - there is a reason the shirt is called a "keeper."

I've never been one to wear tight, form fitting tees. If I  think about it, I guess it stems back from my tomboy days and has stuck with me ever since then. But there is something so satisfying (and comfortable!) about wearing an oversized tee than a form fitting one.

Whenever I want to make an outfit more casual, I just add a neutral men's crew neck and call it a day. I "borrowed" this one from my boyfriend ;)

Hope you all had a lovely long weekend!
